More… The Marie Sparks Memorial Volunteer Award is presented annually to an outstanding individual who has gone above and beyond in giving back to the community through volunteerism. The award also honors Marie’s giving and unselfish spirit of service to Healdsburg. The award nominee is selected by a committee made up of previous recipients. The recipient will be notified by a select number of prior recipients as determined and agreed upon at the annual committee meeting. The award is then presented at a regular council meeting in April, in celebration of National Volunteer Appreciation month. Less…
