Landscape

Lawn Conversion

Customers that convert their existing turf to low- & no-water using landscapes are eligible for a rebate of $1 per square foot converted.

Program Requirements:

  • Pre-and post-conversion inspections are required. Once the application is received, the pre-conversion inspection can be scheduled.
  • If lawn is reinstalled within 10 years of the completion date of the project, the entire rebate remount is required to be repaid to the City.

Rainwater Catchment System

Rain Barrels and Cisterns

Customers that install and maintain a rainwater harvesting system are eligible for a rebate of $0.50 per gallon of storage.

Program Requirements:

  • Minimum capacity of 50 gallons to be eligible for rebate.
  • Total rebates for rain barrels and cisterns may not exceed $500 per site.

Clotheswasher

Clothes Washer

Customers who install an Energy Star Most Efficient clothes washer are eligible for a $50 water-saving rebate. Customers with an electric hot water heater are eligible for an additional $75 energy-saving rebate.

Program Requirements:

  • Clothes washer must be an Energy Star Most Efficient qualified product.
  • A copy of the invoice or receipt confirming purchase price and model information must be included with the completed rebate application.

Toilet

Low Flow Toilet

Customers who install low flow toilets are eligible for $110 rebate per toilet installed. 

Program Requirements:

  • Toilet(s) must be 1.28 gpf or less.
  • Toilet(s) must be an EPA WaterSense labeled fixture.
  • A copy of the invoice or receipt confirming purchase price and model information must be included with the completed rebate application.

Greywater Systems

Customers who install a greywater system (laundry to landscape) are eligible for a $60 rebate.

Irrigation Upgrades

Customers who install efficient irrigation system upgrades can qualify for rebates up to $100 per eligible upgrade (maximum of $400 per meter). Eligible upgrades include:

  • Pressure regulating equipment
  • Drip system conversion kit
  • Check valves
  • Rain/flow sensors
  • Irrigation sub-meter
  • Weather-based and moisture sensing controllers (must be WaterSense labeled)
