Free Water Saving Items
The City is offering the following water saving items to customers, free of charge:
The City is offering the following water saving items to customers, free of charge:
- 1.5 gallon per minute (gpm) dual spray swivel kitchen sink aerator
- 1.0 gpm bubble spray bathroom aerator
- 1.0 gpm bubble spray bathroom aerator with one touch on/off
- 1.5 gpm chrome showerhead
- Soap and soak shower valves
- Toilet leak detection dye tablets
- Toilet tank displacement bag
- Educational water saving wheel
- Educational energy and water saving activity booklet for kids

Customers who install low flow toilets are eligible for $110 rebate per toilet installed.
Program Requirements:
- Toilet(s) must be 1.28 gpf or better
- Toilet(s) must be an EPA WaterSense labeled fixture
- A copy of the invoice or receipt confirming purchase price and model information must be included with the completed rebate application
Customers who install a CEE Tier 3 clothes washer are eligible for a $50 water-saving rebate. Customers with an electric hot water heater are eligible for an additional $75 energy-saving rebate.
Program Requirements:

Customers that convert their existing turf to low- & no-water using landscapes are eligible for a rebate of $1 per square foot converted.
Program Requirements:
- Application
- Pre-and Post-conversion Inspections
- Once the application is received, the pre-conversion inspection can be scheduled
- The conversion must be completed within 120 days
- If lawn is reinstalled within 10 years of the completion date of the project, the entire rebate remount is required to be repaid to the City.

Gardenworks, Inc. will provide a reduced cost irrigation system audit to ensure that your system is functioning properly.

- Observation of system valve by valve while it is operating
- Inspect all control valves for leaks and function
- Inspect all spray system components
- Inspect drip irrigation system for leaks
- Review controller to insure it is functioning properly
- Evaluate the cost of repairs
- Provide customer with an inspection report detailing findings, cost of repairs, and an irrigation schedule
- 1-4 zones: $75
- 5-8 zones: $125
- 8-15 zones: $175
- 16-24 zones: $225

Customers can receive $100 per eligible irrigation system upgrade, up to $400 rebate per meter. Rebate is capped at 100% of equipment cost for each eligible upgrade. Program requires itemized receipt identifying the cost of materials.
